- Impact quote
- Gosforth is McCarthy Stone’s first development under the new Remagin brand, following previous successful schemes carried out at Hexham and Maghull (working with the former Sigmat brand). We have worked with the Remagin management team on our previous schemes and have always successfully delivered a quality product ahead of programme, collectively taking the learnings from these schemes to improve the process going forward. The key to our collective success is early engagement and collaboration with the Remagin team and wider supply chain

- Installation quote
- Our relationship with McCarthy Stone continues to grow stronger as we recognise improvements and positive changes on each project we do together. The team at Gosforth demonsrated just how quick a light gauge steel frame (LGSF) scheme can come to life. We are thrilled to be a part of this journey as they fully embrace Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and in particular the Remagin LGSF system

Project description
Our fifth McCarthy Stone retirement living project, delivered two weeks ahead of schedule Following previous successful projects in Hexham, Broadstairs, Warminster and Maghull, and as part of our agreed framework with our partners at McCarthy Stone, the Remagin team have delivered the fifth retirement living scheme in a record 9 weeks. Situated in the North East town of Gosforth, the development will provide 29 retirement living apartments.
Working collaboratively, and with early engagement at the heart of our partnership approach, the McCarthy Stone site team have embraced the significant speed advantages offered by LGSF construction. Having completed four successful projects to date, our team are now well under way with plans for the sixth McCarthy Stone project in Stafford, which is due on site in September. McCarthy Stone’s commitment to constructing 50% of their future homes using offsite methods shows no signs of slowing down, and the team here at Remagin are delighted to be on this journey with them.
